In aggregate, our framework makes the Trail Blazers to be a bucket or so better than their guests at Moda Center tonight--enough for the home win, but ceding the cover to the Dallas Mavericks. We note though that a couple of the sim-based factors on our roster expect the visitors to pull off the road win outright. As such, we are comfortable backing Dallas, plus the half dozen points.
The Mavs apparently match up well with the Blazers. Not only did Dallas upset Portland at American Airlines Center on Sunday, but the Mavericks covered/won each of the last three meetings with the Trail Blazers. Further, Dallas is 7-3 ATS over the last ten encounters with Portland.
Look for the Mavs to continue their dominance (against the number) over the Blazers tonight. Take the points and side with the road dogs to cover.
