Yesterday's picks finished a disappointing 2-3, for a net loss of 1.25 units. While Ohio / Ball State and Arkansas / Mississippi State both finished well under the betting line, delivering easy covers for under-backers, Duquesne / Dayton and Northern Illinois / Kent State were not even close to cashing in, as totals seemingly flew past Vegas expectation in both instances. New Mexiso / Utah State was reasonably close to securing the cover, but no cigar in the end, as the combined score finished 2.5 points too high for our liking.
