Due to the fast-paced and protracted nature of the NBA season (i.e. the 2014-15 season will feature a total of 1,230 games played over 169 days), we believe our professional basketball picks can be most efficiently distributed via twitter. We will, however, periodically update our record betting professional basketball here so that our audience remains apprised of the aggregate value of our efforts.
@WizeOwlSports started the season on a tear, going 14-5 out the gate (through November 9), and amassing a 74% win rate. However, we managed only a chilly 15-18-2 to finish November. We have gotten back to our winning ways though, so far in December, as we are 24-11-1 this month (13-6 betting sides, 11-5-1 betting totals), for a 66.7% win ratio.
In aggregate, we are an impressive 54-33-3 so far this year (24-15-1 picking sides, and 30-18-2 betting totals) -- for a 60% aggregate win ratio. Of note, our approach has been equally efficacious betting spreads and totals (we have won 60% of our wagers in each category). The chart below illustrates the hypothetical profitability of wagering $100 on each of our published picks.

The rightmost column in the tables shows hypothetical cumulative profit amassed by betting $100 on each game (data is the basis of the Cumulative Profitability chart highlighted previously.
