Feb 13th NBA Action: Backing Pacers and Nets Covers

Season-to-date record: 36-39-1, 48%

A couple of favorites in the mix Saturday: Siding with Pacers -2 and Nets -4

Before encouterting the Pistons Thursday, the Pacers had a pretty tough schedule over their preceding four games: the Bucks, Pelicans, Jazz and Nets boast a collective 61-41 SU record, miles ahead of Indiana's 13-13 tally.

Not surprisingly, the Pacers lost each of those contests before boosting their confidence with a 16-point win at the 7-19 Detroit Pistons.

Meanwhile, some 750 miles away from the action at the Indiana, Kevin Durant was pulled early in the game between his Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors last Friday, after coming in contact with team personnel that apparently tested positive for covid-19.

Without KD, Brooklyn dropped games to Toronto, Philly and even Detroit (!) before pulling things together and running up the score versus the Pacer's early Wednesday, and coasting to a 10-point win.

(The superstar point forward will be back on the floor for Brooklyn, to face his old team, the Golden State Warriors, Saturday.)

Circumstances surrounding the Pacers and Nets set the stage for covers Saturday, in our opinion, as quality teams hitting the road after signs of righting the ship have been strong bets versus the number historically, when modestly favored.

Teams that made the last playoffs, are laying between a bucket and two longballs on the road and are coming off a win after dropping at least three of their last five have delivered a stunning 30% long term return.

This system has proven incredibly consistent, submitting only one losing season since 2005, including a 6-2 ATS so far this year.

Happy betting!!
