We are backing the UNDER when the 0-2 Washington Wizards host the 2-0 Orlando Magic Sunday, in the third game of the young 2020-2021 NBA season. We estimate that the total for this contest is inflated after these same teams posted a combined 250 points Saturday (Magic 130, Wizards 120), exceeding the closing total by 17.5 points.

Supporting our thesis for Sunday's contest, we note that, early in the season, home teams that went OVER the total by at least four longballs have proven solid UNDER plays facing their division in their next out.

The UNDER has delivered a 17% return on investment from this position since 2005, including a 2-0 run so far this season (with the O/U for Saturday's Kings @ Suns game still hanging in the balance as of the time of this writing).
