We note specific situations though, where bettors have been paid to back the home team in game three of a post-season pairing. For instance, home teams laying chalk after dropping their two previous games SU/ATS have covered at a 58% clip since 2005, and by an average margin of 4.5 points, no less. This system has been good for a 13% return on investment (ROI).
Further, such teams are 15-9 ATS in game 3's specifically.
