We are backing the Rockets cover at OKC tonight, as history suggests the present situations favor Houston.
The Thunder will enter tonight's action on a six-game straight up winning streak and a roll of five consecutive covers. Teams in such a position are 6-9 ATS in their next campaign since 2005, but the sample size is probably too small for meaningful extrapolation.
In an effort to glean more robust insights, we considered teams won their last four to eight straight, that were cast as home dogs in their next game. Fading this cohort has been good for an 8% ROI since 2005.
