We are fading the Nets coming off their unexpected rout at Cleveland Wednesday (Brooklyn entered that contest as 3 point underdogs, and won by 16). We see value laying single-digits and siding with the, so far, unblemished Pelicans, in comfort of their own home.
History seems to validate our thinking, as, early in the NBA season, it has been profitable to bet against teams on extended road tours, following big wins. Since 2006, squads playing their third or fourth consecutive away game in the wake of a win by 10-20 points are only 57-79-4 ATS in games played in October, November and December.
